A newly sharpened purpose to Perichorus blog-site

For those who are regular or occasional visitors to Perichorus- as well as all first-time visitors, you will want to know that this blog-site has just undergone a newly sharpened purpose and direction.

You will find this more clarified purpose and theme expressed through the extensive revising of the “About Perichorus” blog-site anchor page.

Four purpose statements of Perichorus:

1. A call for true Pentecostal revival.
2. Visioning a new kind of Pentecostal church for the postmodern world.
3. Conceptualising Pentecostal ethos through postmodern paradigms.
4. Encountering Jesus as the Baptiser in the Spirit.

What you’ll find in Perichorus

This newly defined purpose emerged through the recent publishing of my three part series (plus prologue) titled, “Spirit-baptism and the Prophetic Imagination.”

What emerged through those entries has now also become something of a comprehensive manifesto of Perichorus regarding what the blog envision towards the global Pentecostal movement:

I believe that this sharpening of vision and purpose must remain tentative.  Through the passing of time, it will continue to evolve as the Lord further clarifies the role, purpose, and message of Perichorus.
